Outdoor Awareness Campaign
Mission Burrito started out with one family owned location, then two, and had recently been purchased by a large restaurant company specializing in Mexican concepts. They wanted to grow the brand and open additional stores, but the brand had little market awareness beyond it’s core neighborhood stores. We wanted to promote the freshness of their ingredients and the fact that you could order your burrito in a bowl without the tortilla. It was important to show that the bowls are served in stainless bowls with stainless utensils as opposed to the plastic alternatives provided by their competitors. This was a six board rotator campaign making their way around the major freeways in Houston. Brand elements developed for the campaign made their way into the stores as point of purchase and messaging.
